June 14, 2025 – United States
Today, in over 1,800 towns and cities, Americans are taking to the streets with a simple, defiant message: No Kings.
Not because we hate our country.
But because we love it too much to watch it slide into something it was never meant to be.
These are not riots. These are not revolts.
These are marches for democracy.
Side by side walk grandmothers and high schoolers. Union organizers and veterans. Ministers and nurses. Carrying signs. Chanting peacefully. Reclaiming the public square from fear, silence, and authoritarian showmanship.
We march not to divide, but to remind.
That power was never meant to rest in the hands of one man, one family, or one spectacle.
We are not subjects. We are citizens.
“No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance … We’re taking action to reject authoritarianism, and show the world what democracy really looks like. The flag doesn’t belong to President Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.”

Eyes Wide Open:
This is not the beginning of resistance. It is the continuation of a promise.
A promise made in ink and blood by generations before us.
A promise to hold the line against tyranny, in all its forms.
A promise that we, the people, will not forget who holds the power.
Call to Action:
Were you at a march today? Post a photo, a moment, or a quote in the comments. Let’s build a digital time capsule of democracy in motion.
